Pat
Cosgrave is the latest jockey to have a lengthy ban bestowed on him while riding abroad,
this time a hefty 6 months ban handed to him by the Emirates Racing Authority
for ‘improper riding’ at Meydan, moving away from the rail on the final bend thus allowing
his stablemate to pass on the inside.
British
guidelines suggest between 5 and 10 days ban for this same offence.
